As a company, we want to be more intentional about creating an inclusive, equitable culture. In 2020, Ash launched our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force with employees of all ages, races and lengths of employment.
We seek to attract and maximize a diverse employee population by valuing all people, providing education and creating an open dialogue. The DEI Task Force works with local organizations like the YMCA and Courageous Living to develop training resources and workshops for our teams.
As a remote employee, I was a little worried about feeling connected. I didn’t need to be! I feel like an integrated part of my team and look forward to working with them every day. I came to Ash through a merger. I stay with Ash because I love the people I work with and I am excited to be part of a company dedicated to making life better for others.
Ash is the most welcoming and inclusive work environment I have ever been a part of. The endless support from leadership in regard to both my career and personal development epitomizes the family culture that has been embedded within the organization over the years.
Who wouldn’t want to work hard for a company that works so hard for me! Ash cares and has an intentional culture. I know this, because Ash asks employees, of all levels, for input on products & services. They ask for input on who we want to be and how we want to serve one another, our advisors and our clients.
We have offices and team members spread out across the country, but Fort Wayne, Indiana, will always be our home. The city – really the entire Northeast Indiana region – is a great place to live, work and play.
Whether you’re into sports, art, music, food or nature, you’ll find something you love about this area.
