To support our core commitment to volunteering, employees are encouraged to take up to 16 hours of compensated time each year in order to give back.
From tutoring to coaching, or just donating time to local schools and organizations, each employee can find a way to make their mark.
Our employee-driven Impact Committee is fully supported by donations from our team. Fundraiser events are held throughout the year, supporting families both inside and outside our walls.
From collecting gifts during holidays, to lending a hand during a specific time of need, we treat each other like family.
Our corporate giving committee supports non-for-profit groups through sponsorship opportunities, our presence at fundraisers and direct monetary gifts.
We focus on supporting organizations that provide services for children, the arts or greater community support.
Our reach goes far beyond charitable events. Each year, we impact the lives of over 30,000 individuals through the products and services we distribute. For those individuals and their families, the lasting significance of these insurance solutions reaches years into the future.
We also sponsor community events such as the Three Rivers Festival, Fort Wayne Music Festival and Middle Waves. And with 200 employees outside of Fort Wayne, local communities across the country — including our offices in Freehold, Overland Park and Phoenix — benefit from our caring culture.
One of the first major philanthropic undertakings of the Ash family, the Academy of Sports & Health (ASH) Centre was built to empower youth through sports and health. Now owned and operated by the World Baseball Academy, the 26-acre athletic complex includes premier indoor and outdoor athletic facilities used annually by more than 5,000 boys and girls, age 8 through college.
The Ash family has also contributed to and supports numerous organizations such as Junior Achievement, the Boys and Girls Club of Fort Wayne, the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, Charis House, WBOI, Project Activate Southeast and the Unity Performing Arts Foundation.
Our employees and leaders have served on the Board of Directors for a number of non-profits, including the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne, the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, Fort Wayne Children's Choir, United Way of Allen County, Mad Anthony Children's Hope House and more.
