The Ash Skyline Plaza is more than our national headquarters – it’s a vision come to life. In 2016, we returned back to our roots in downtown Fort Wayne, fulfilling CEO Tim Ash’s dream of bringing together our employees, clients and community in a space that would create endless energy and inspiration. 

Our building was a collaborative project with the City of Fort Wayne and other area businesses. Ash Brokerage occupies the top three levels of the building, which also includes a parking garage, retail space, commercial offices and rooftop green space.


Levels 7-9

Ash Brokerage Headquarters

  • Approx. 65,000 square feet
  • Design allows for every employee to be within 50 feet of a window
  • Features three-story atrium, dining and recreation areas, as well as creative meeting spaces 
  • Outdoor terraces located on north and south ends of level 7 

Skyline Park

  • Approx. 1 acre – largest rooftop green space in Indiana

Approx. 35,000 square feet of commercial space

Lower Level-Level 5

Skyline Garage

  • Owned by City of Fort Wayne
  • 1,077 parking spaces
  • Features exterior LED lighting that can change colors for seasons or events

Timeline

Ash Skyline Plaza is many years in the making. Check out the timeline below, or read through our Skyline blog to relive its history. 

  • September 23, 2013 – Project announced to public
  • December 9, 2014 – Lake City Bank signs on as first retail tenant
  • June 12, 2014 – Groundbreaking ceremony marks start of construction
  • July 2015 – Groundwork complete and cores in place; construction of Skyline Garage begins
  • September 22, 2015 – Topping Out ceremony marks placement of final steel beam
  • January 2016 – Skyline Garage opens to monthly parkers
  • January 13, 2016 – Great Lakes Capital signs on to develop adjacent Skyline Tower
  • March 17, 2016 – DuCharme, McMillen & Associates announced as tenant – all commercial and retail space filled
  • May 9, 2016 – Skyline Garage opens to general public
  • May 26, 2016 – All Fort Wayne employees of Ash Brokerage working in new headquarters
  • June 1, 2016 - Building officially opens with ribbon-cutting ceremony

Skyline Tower

Adjacent to the Ash Skyline Plaza, Skyline Tower is a mixed-use building being developed by Great Lakes Capital in partnership with the Bradley Company and the City of Fort Wayne. Currently under construction, the building will feature retail space on the ground floor and office space on the second floor, for a combined 30,000 square feet of commercial space.

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse has signed on as a ground-floor tenant, and Great Lakes Capital and Bradley Company will be relocating their offices into the tower. 

Above that, the tower will house 124 high-end apartments, which will meet the need for complementary and quality housing downtown.
